But, he sells and goes back to his hometown of Derry Township. A little know fact...Hershey leaves Lancaster because his tax rate DOUBLED after he failed to give $$ to local politics. It was political machine politics personified---so Hershey decided to take his $$$ and go where he could run the machine.

The last part of our candy tour is the Mars company, one of the largest privately owned corporations in the world.
